Make a request in writing to the Office of the Registrar of Motor Vehicles. You will be required to re-enter the Graduated Driver Licensing Program. Please contact the nearest Motor Registration office in your area for further information on any of the above. You may also be required to submit a medical, depending on your age, class of licence, or medical condition.

If your licence is expired more than 5 years the applicant will not get credit for previous driving experience. If your licence is expired more than 1 year, you will be required to take the written and vision test again. Once you pass the written and vision test you have 6 months to pay for licence or you will have to complete a written and vision test again.

Once you pass the road test, you have 1 year to pay for the licence, otherwise, you will have to start from the beginning with written and vision test, but you would get credit for driving experience in Level I. Avoid line ups and save travel time.
